The NCI-3 Event is where real transformation happens.

Across four immersive days, you’ll learn the core models that govern human influence and how to apply them in real conversations, under real pressure, to create real outcomes.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3
Skill meets structure. You’ll work hands-on with NCI coaches and receive direct, personalized feedback as you refine your approach and begin building a professional-grade influence skill set.

CHASE HUGHES

A 20-year US Navy Chief embarked on a journey to develop the most powerful tools for interrogation, influence, persuasion, negotiation, and behavior profiling.

His relentless pursuit of knowledge and expertise led him to become the world's leading authority in these fields. With a vision to empower others, Chase founded Applied Behavior Research, a company dedicated to teaching these invaluable skills to everyday people.

At the heart of Applied Behavior Research lies the core message: " We rise by lifting others."

Merlin OBrecht

Merlin is a behavioral scientist, philosopher, and entrepreneur who founded Merlin’s Roofing Corp after studying liberal arts at Heritage College. His company became internationally known for high-quality metal roofing, bringing European craftsmanship to North America before he closed it to work full-time with Chase Hughes and NCI University.

Regarded as Chase Hughes's top student, Merlin achieved every certification at NCI University, including the prestigious Red Belt and NCI-4 Author levels. He contributed significantly to the Behavior Ops Manual and now serves as NCI University's Dean of Academic Affairs, leading teams to develop NCI exams and training materials.

Growing up off-grid with sled dogs and working hard labor jobs instilled in Merlin a relentless drive for excellence. As head of NCI’s coaching department, he helps students master authority, behavior profiling, and influence. Merlin is propelled by his passion for philosophy, human behavior, and making a global impact through love and unity.
